Since 2014, refugees (or safety seekers) from Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries from around the world, congregated at this informal camp -the largest in Greece- with more than 15,000 people crowding at the Macedonian border, in hope to continue their onward journey in search of a new place to call home.
